Diagnostic Tools
From David Chan: (this) attachment is a tool to create diagnostic pathway for a number of conditions based on likelihood ratios (mostly from the JAMA Rational Clinical Examination series). You can unzip the file and run the file called conditionIndex.html. I am hoping to turn this into another App for MyDrugRef (soon to be renamed to Know2Act or K2A). Send me your feedback, or better still, add to the list of conditions!! Have fun with it. It's a great teaching tool for my EBM seminars. - Original Stand Alone files for desktop
- You have to unzip it outside OSCAR. You can not run it like the usual eForm the way the code is written. I am trying to change that..... It's still very much a work in progress. I am hoping that the "Diagnosis" tool will make it in the Know2Act (currently MyDrugRef) release in April 2014. So any one can simply enter: Condition: Acute Sinusitis Signs: XXX LR+ LR-... Symptoms: YYY LR+ LR1 ... Lab: ZZZ LR+ LR- ... etc.. And the Diagnosis engine will render the UI with confidence intervals and graph etc. I hope I am making myself clear. Exciting things are coming... David
- Zipped files for upload to oscar
- Attached allConditions(eForm).zip, when imported, will create an eForm called CarePaths and place individual CarePaths in the Oscar images folder. Opening individual CarePaths via the CarePaths eForm will open them and populate the oscarDB based fields. The strategy is to have the required oscarDB based fields populated by Oscar in the CarePath eForm and then transfer them to individual CarePaths via their links. Darius.
