The 2010 National OSCARs
At the National Usergroup meeting on October 16 2010 in Vancouver, OSCAR awards were presented to acknowledge outstanding contributions by users.
OSCARs were presented to Patti Rodger Kirkpatrick, Carole White, David Daley and Rich Pope for their work on the OCUS board
of directors. All 4 of these individuals are stepping down from the board as of October 16 2010. The user group is extremely grateful for their contributions.
Dr. Reza "Rex" Alemi -Best volunteer Developer. Rex Alemi received an OSCAR for his work on the OSCAR package (Programming that will allow individuals to select OSCAR from a list of applications available on the ubuntu respository and download and update OSCAR with 1 click)
Dr. Jel Coward received an OSCAR for his working on the BC billing and WCB module.
Nicole Goodman - “Other OSP” award as an “OSCAR Super Partner” for putting up with Jay's very extended hours working on the OSCAR project.
Shelter Lee was acknowledged for his continued work on the eforms.
Gunther Klein -OSCAR volunteer
Gunther received his 3rd OSCAR for his willingness to volunteer for almost every job that comes up, including stepping up to be OCUS’s new treasurer.
