A team led by McMaster University and Mohawk College in Hamilton recently achieved another and significant first for OSCAR!
After extensive development work made possible by the Federal Economic Development Agency of Southern Ontario (FedDev) through the Connected Health and Wellness Project (CHWP), Jay Gallagher (McMaster) and Mohamed Ibrahim and Garrett Tyler (Mohawk College) put OSCAR’s interoperability to the test and passed at the Integrating the Health Enterprise (IHE) North America Connectathon 2014 the week of January 27 - 31 in Chicago, IL.
IHE is an initiative created by professionals in the health care industry to help improve the way information systems share data in health care by promoting the coordinated use of established standards to address specific clinical needs in support of optimal patient care.
